Greater Kruger Park (2 nights)
The Greater Kruger Park covers over 20 000 square kilometres of wilderness. This impressive park is divided into the national park, which is open to day visitors as well as overnighters who can stay in one of the public restcamps, as well as several private reserves along the western border of the national park.
In the late 1990’s the fences between the national park and the private reserves were taken down, thereby increasing the total area of the park and allowing the animals greater space to roam. The Greater Kruger Park still offers the ultimate South African safari experience!
Day 1 – Safari
You will be collected at either Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport for Simbavati & Motswari or Nelspruit’s KMIA airport for Sabi Sabi.
Arrive in time for lunch. In the late afternoon you head out for a game drive in open 4x4 vehicles.
After a few hours you stop to enjoy a spectacular sunset in the bush with a sundowner drink and snacks before returning to the lodge in the dark, where you may be lucky to spot a rare nocturnal animal with the help of powerful torches.
Day 2 – Safari
Early morning game drive followed by late breakfast. Enjoy the rest of the morning at your own leisure either relaxing by the pool or enjoying reading a good book on your deck. High tea is served followed by an afternoon game drive.
A sumptious dinner once again awaits you upon your return to the lodge.
Day 3 – Checkout
Early morning game viewing activity followed by breakfast. After checkout you are transferred back to your closest aiport to fly to Johannesburg in time to connect with a flight home. Alternatively, if you are on a self-drive you can make a perfect combination by linking with a
2 night Panorama Route package.
